Very good school and teachers, plenty of different levels of classes and the only place in Perth which caters for higher levels beyond beginner. Muy Bueno Chicos!

Don’t waste your money on this course!

Great school with lovely teachers, Lara is my favorite!! wide range of different levels and times. If you can't attend they'll let you join a different class! very flexible and highly recommended.

Really enjoy Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. Each course was 8 weeks and was taught by a native Spanish speaker (I had Lara, she was lovely).You cover a lot in each class but it doesn't feel like you're going too fast. Everything is explained clearly and classes are varied - they don't just sit and talk at you, it's interactive.You are not made to feel silly or put on the spot if you don't know something.Classes are run at the same time each week but there are different days you can choose from (e.g. every Tues at 6pm or every Saturday at 1030am)I'm thinking about doing Spanish 3 when I get back to Perth!

I have attended two levels of this course in Melbourne and have no complaints about the learning experience.BE CAREFUL. Terms and conditions dictate that if you pay for a course, as I did for level three in Perth, and are unable to attend, Spanish Cat will not refund your money.Credits are available, however if your circumstances change significantly, like mine did, you'll forfeit your hard earned without recourse.Unsavoury for a language school to be profiteering in this manner.

I initially wanted to give this place my money and enrol as a lifetime learner (which is not cheap by any means). So glad I didn't waste my money!! Tried to call on NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, simply asking for an invoice and a call back. NEVER heard from anyone to this day so they must be making enough business with the numbers" they already have. I've since enrolled with another language school in Perth that appreciate the business we give them and who treat us as enthusiastic learners!"

A fantastic school which I've recommended to many people. I've done Levels 1 to 4 there and all the teachers were great, Lara is especially awesome :) they make it interesting in class with music etc and the class sizes aren't too big so you can still learn pretty well considering it's group lessons as opposed to one on one tutoring.

Overall I enjoyed doing Level 1A and 1B with Spanish Cat, and will consider going further. The teachers are generally enthusiastic and the environment is friendly. Being a relatively fast language learner I do feel that the pace is far too slow at times. I understand that everyone learns language at a different pace. However, I feel that an excessive amount of time was spent on certain areas such as the Spanish Alphabet, the verbs Ser vs. Estar (3-4 lessons at least), and time for example. I do wish that even at the beginner levels we were taught the basics of Spanish Grammar, i.e. why sentences are said the way they are said, the structure, the grammatical features etc.... This would allow us to form our own sentences using the words that we've learned. Being able to say something does not mean at all that you are understanding what you are actually saying, and hence limits your ability to really understand and grasp the language.
